About him
I am a retired Police Officer and live in Shoeburyness, Essex. I am 81 years old but am well preserved and fit and follow several outdoor pastimes, and have been told that I can easily pass for being ten years younger, so I am not care home material yet!! I have been a widower for more than a year. I live in my own bungalow; which I built myself, with some help, of course. I have a large flower garden and also an allotment where I grow most of my vegetables. I like to travel and have visited many worldwide places, but my most loved is walking the footpaths of Essex; a county which I love, mostly if it is north of the A127. I read a great deal and have an interest in history, especially of Essex, and in particular Shoeburyness where my ancestors have lived for nearly 200 years. For 12 years I was the local Bobby in Shoebury and therefore well known, and I hope that in most cases, well liked and compasionate. If you wish to know more, then message me. My favoured lady would be 65 years old plus, but I have an open mind on that, although a nice younger lady who is not too bothered about the age difference, would be nice, but that is an open statement.
