About her
With a love of colour, harmony and creativity, I'm rarely idle! Happiest always in my garden … any garden … or breathing sweet country air with birdsong overhead. Whether stitching, stirring, watching things grow or DIY, the delight of creativity is always worth the effort and the satisfaction of a job well done. The gym and Tai Chi help keep the body trim and my spirit in a good place, though these take second place when the sun is shining and the outdoors beckons!
My favourite time is sitting in the stillness as twilight falls on a scented garden; cuddles and games with my grandchildren on their sleepovers and the aroma of tasty Indian food on the hob. I dance in the kitchen, stay up too late and rise early! For music, it’s Trance, Gypsy Kings, Matt Monroe to Enya with eclectic mixes in between, but there's always something playing according to my mood. I live life in colour, embracing all the senses.
I love wandering stately homes and gardens, heritage sites and ruins; anywhere historical; exploring woods with a rug and a picnic.
For fun, I love collecting pebbles at the seashore, sipping hot chocolate on a cold day, a gripping TV drama or snuggling into my down duvet with a bowl of cornflakes!
My roots are beautiful Farndale and Rosedale in Yorkshire, and Greece, where I love to spend time. Although I haven’t travelled extensively, I wish to see many more beautiful places including Scotland, Eire, Tuscany and Venice.
Life is what we make it, and I enjoy the making of it - every day. I'm looking for someone to share all this with, and more.
