About her
I am quietly confident and happy to be me. I have a daughter and a son and six healthy grandchildren, who I adore.
I crossed the channel and lived in France for two years and it was amazing ! At first I lived at the top of a hill and then I moved to a beautiful cottage on the river at St Front La Riviere in the Dordogne. An extraordinary adventure, spontaneous and incredible and meeting some like-minded people.
Formula Ford racing took over my weekends for eight years and I loved the thrill of being in the pit lane and sometimes our car won a race or two.
I am quite artistic and enjoy reviving old furniture.I have a love of antiques and Antique markets, museums and the theatre. I had my own Arts & Crafts boutique in Woodbridge, Suffolk in 2000-2003.
My first novel was published in 2006 which will, hopefully become a trilogy, I also write poetry just for fun.
Since retiring, I enjoy volunteering at Barnardos meeting interesting people .
I love the countryside , either walking or driving and finding hidden country pubs and quaint villages. Ireland is my favourite place to explore, with hidden coves and beaches ,great restaurants, fabulous folk lore and a writers heaven.
