About him
Hope lives eternal for me... and for you? Somehow, I seem less than the sum of my parts; Oxbridge educated, leadership in senior school, TA special forces; now out in Saudi Arabia for three years to pay of mortgage.(what is the point!) with UK returns to work on house and ride motorbike.
Typical Gemini (allegedly) - friends and colleagues describe me as lively, witty, caring, imaginative and intelligent but I am also subject to over-thinking and pondering too much. Sometimes viewing the glass half-full and sometimes half-empty, I try to look on the positive when down and be rational when on a roll.
You would find me tactile, funny compassionate. I would want to be close to you, to show my feelings physically and would hope to have them demonstrably reciprocated. A little traditional in roles, but with a submissive side.
Still love bikes and riding, with one on the go since sixteen (photos to prove). Like the basics - cooking, hot coffee, glowing stoves, soft sofas and reading, films, used to raise poultry and fruit/veg and there is still a hankering for the good life. Unwinding is through riding, foreign literature, DIY/gardening and films. Sporting days way past but I still twitch watching rugby and motor sport on TV - my children laugh! Restraints needed in every relationship - but prefer no four-footed ones.
Seeing into future is tricky but above all, I would wish to end up in Western Crete or Cornwall with you, the love of my life: share the most beautiful and awe-inspiring scenery; exceptional individuals with great food and festivities through a cycle of seasons which, while different, are equally desirable.

Definitely the heading says it - together at the start and end of every day. She will be comfortable in her own skin and comfortable next to mine; enjoying my arms around her and wanting to put hers around me. Not in each others' pockets but in each others' hearts.
Young enough in mind to pillion on a bike; I yearn for that physical closeness of companionship, you pressed against my back, the sudden conversation, the tug round the waist and re-assuring squeeze on the knee. Physical affection is important for me, in public and private.
I have a thing about long, dark hair (omission on my part), being trapped in tumbling, tangled tresses, Mesmerized by Rita Hayworth singing "Put the blame on Mame" at an impressionable age!
Will hopefully love everything Greek - food, wine, life-style, dancing, scenery - the whole intense, yet laidback, lifestyle. I would love to retire to Crete , run a small taverna for bikers and classic car hire with the woman of my dreams and beyond.
I'm quite simple (I think) - walks, fires, wine, the capability to talk about everything and nothing and sometimes the ease of just staying silent and enjoying each other's nearness. I used to enjoy dancing - want to find a partner for that, not necessarily ballroom.
