My friends would say I am loyal, generous, articulate and funny. Having spent many years forging a career that I was proud of, I opted out of children, and long term relationships were hard to sustain. Now I'm older the no child thing isn't an issue, but the lack of partner is something I would like to rectify. I like to travel, cook, walk, sing, do yoga, watch sport and movies and plays and gigs. I like nice restaurants, but am at my happiest after a long walk in a country pub. I'm passionate about animals and their welfare, about the planet and its fragility and about people being kind.

I would like to meet someone who is smart and funny, who likes cosy evenings and the occasional dressed up dinner. Who may like a five star break, but would equally consider a camper van weekend. A lover of music, theatre and the odd bit of goof tv drama, but most importantly must like dogs.
I'm pretty relaxed and easy going, so the same would be good, but someone wouldn't mind taking the lead and making plans would be nice. I can't do the smoke thing and that would be the deal breaker, otherwise pretty much chilled about most things!
