I am very loyal to my friends. People describe my personality as easygoing and fun, but also serious. I'm a university academic. I like straightforward, kind people and I really dislike arguing. I don't often wear make up or smart clothes and I am not really comfortable in environments where a lot of scrubbing up is required. I love walking, swimming in the sea, animals, being outdoors, sunshine, camping, travelling, reading, great series on Netflix, pilates, yoga, horse riding and studying psychology. For relaxation, I swim at the gym, hike with the Ramblers and meditate. My outlook on life is optimistic. I've had to get through some challenging times in the past but on balance I have a pretty good life and I feel fortunate with what I have.

I want to meet a kind man who enjoys reading, talking about ideas but also relaxing in simple ways. I think it would work if I met a guy who has young kids my kids age ( 14, 11, 5) and is devoted to his kids but wants someone to spend time with in his free time. I would like to go on hikes with you and go to the beach and go to not expensive restaurants that serve interesting dishes of different ethnic origins. Deal breakers are making fun of vulnerable people, sexism, racism, homophobia, eating horsemeat and nose-picking.
