About her
I enjoy an outdoor life with friends and animals, sharing my home with several small easy-going dogs. Retired now from from my lifelong occupation as trainer of horses and ponies for driving and riding, I keep one or two cobs to use for pleasure during the milder seasons. I can now indulge a range of interests such as classical art, the Roman world, good literature and travel. I enjoy NH racing, steam rallies helping with Pug Welfare and folk festivals. I also enjoy taking part in village life and volunteering, plus judging carriage driving here and abroad amid beautiful settings then coming back to a pub meal with friends. My musical tastes include Mozart, Mendelssohn , swing and folk rock. Friends describe me as lively, easygoing, straightforward , a good listener. “She tells it like it is but is also kind and empathetic with a dry sense of humour”.

I would like an honest, kind , diverting companion who must of course be an animal lover and who might enjoy one or two of my interests and introduce me to his own. Great if he’s an outdoor/ indoor type like me who’s open to new experiences. Most importantly , a man who appreciates that while of course I enjoy my horses there’s a great deal more to me than that. I love to be looked after and enjoy cooking for the two of us.
