Hello there,
I'm a happy and healthy man with an adventurous spirit, a big heart and a curious soul.
I enjoy a variety of interests from playing tennis, using the gym, drumming, theatre, cinema, art & sculpture, walks in the country and socialising with friends.
Over the years I’ve tried my hand at many different activities like canoeing, horse riding, glass blowing, stone sculpting and most recently archery. I love learning new skills and enjoying new experiences, whether that’s just for a fun one- off day or something that leads to a more regular hobby. I would say though that doing anything with a partner is infinitely more pleasurable than doing it solo and so I place a high value on having time together as a couple, whether that’s going for a walk in the country, a trip to a cultural event like the theatre, a music gig, or sculpture park, or just snuggled up together in front of the fire with a carpet picnic and a bottle of wine.
I like to get out and explore interesting places both in the UK and abroad, especially romantic city breaks. I like dining out particularly in unusual and quirky restaurants, but I'm also equally happy chilling out at home and I especially enjoy cooking a meal together with the music on and a glass of wine Mediterranean style.
I work for the business side of the charity sector and I’m also renovating a period property on the side which I hope to rent out later this year.
I have 2 older children, my son aged 26 who works in London and my daughter aged 18 who lives with me part time and will be heading off to university soon. I've been very fortunate at being involved in their activities while they grew up but now they are more independent I have more free time to enjoy with a partner.
