About him
I moved out here twelve years ago and have never regretted it. I love the climate, the fact that that big yellow thing is in the sky most mornings! But I'm happy to spend time in the UK with the right partner. I have a daughter and two granddaughters in Cheltenham and a son, grandson and granddaughter in Edinburgh.
I'm positive, cheerful and optimistic about life. Looking for a warm partner to share some adventures with. I play petanca three times a week. I was a good and keen golfer but don't play any more. I generally enjoy my own company, but I do get bored sometimes and a bit lonely. It would be good to be half of a couple again.
Kind, generous, sensitive. I'm not religious. I think "Desiderata" typifies my approach to life. You know it? The one that goes "go placidly amidst the noise and haste etc". If you don't know it, look it up. It's a great guide for living.
I enjoy eating and drinking out and enjoy cooking at home. I enjoy good films, dramas and documentaries on TV and I'm very keen on sport, so watch a fair amount of rugby, football, cricket and golf. But don't let that put you off! Wouldn't expect to do so much when I was with you. I read a lot and enjoy crosswords and the daily puzzles in The Times. I'm learning Bridge. So maybe I'll meet someone that way!
So that's me. Looking for a partnership, not necessarily to spend 100% of the time together, but to share all the good and bad experiences, have some adventures and enjoy a warm, loving relationship.
