About her
Since retiring and shortly afterwards losing my partner in life, I've been keeping myself very busy and enjoy trying anything new and meeting new people. The great love in my life is music and particularly singing - it takes me around the world. I enjoy travelling generally. In the year before lockdown I went to France, Hungary, Italy (three times), the Netherlands and Portugal. And in September just before the current lockdowns started I managed to get to Tuscany for a fabulous week of singing WITHOUT a mask. My other interests include lawn green bowling (sadly currently on hold) and volunteering for the National Trust (also on hold). I adore cats. I lost my darling ginger and white tom, Ozzie, last October, but since January, Gjeilo (Ozzie’s almost lookalike) has made his forever home with me. He arrived in January 2020 and has been my saviour in lockdown . I love my garden, especially sitting in the sun with a glass of cider and the odd bottle of wine, but drink only socially. I’m eagerly looking forward to a new summerhouse. People say I appear self-assured and confident. Inwardly I don't think that is really true. I love watching cricket and rugby and have been a lifelong supporter of Wycombe Wanderers. All in all pretty easy going.

I'm looking for somebody with whom I can share life's experiences. I'd love to be able to have somebody who could support me in all I do and who I could help me through all my ups and downs. I'd like to share new activities with that person, either those they already have of entirely new ones to both of us. Having lovely days out and beautiful meals are difficult when you are on your own. My deal breaker I think, would be a smoker.
