About her
I am a very loyal, honest, dependable, sincere, hard working and caring woman. I am looking for companionship, someone reliable, sensitive and compassionate for friendship initially, possibly more depending on how well we get on.
I love live music of various genres, and perhaps you do too: folk, jazz, prog, middle of the road. This year I've seen Paul Carrack, Mike + The Mechanics, a famous classical guitarist whose name escapes me, Gilbert o'Sullivan, Brian Ferry; Marillion and Steve Hackett. Paul Carrack, Jamie Callum, Bryan Ferry, Pet Shop Boys booked for next year. Hopefully a few more to be added!
I want to meet and care for someone, make him feel special and have that gift reciprocated. Life can seem very lonely at times and it would be marvellous to share good moments with someone genuine again.
A quiet evening in chatting or listening to music suit me better than a party lifestyle.
I am not interested in quick sexual conquests: that's not my style. I was married for over 30 years and my late husband was my only partner.
I work silly hours, self-employed caring for clients dogs in my home. My free time is limited and doesn't fall into the neat 9-5 office hours. I do a great deal of walking in the countryside and by the sea when I can. I enjoy sharing a walk or a cosy meal in the pub or an evening reminiscing over music from the 70s onwards.
I read voraciously, love live music and drama (radio or theatre).
My outlook on life is to make the most of it while I'm able. Sharing it with someone with similar outlooks and values would be fantastic.
Dislikes? Smoking, gambling, bigotry, excessive drinking and any form of cruelty or unkindness.

My ideal match wouldn't be shy of giving me a hug in public, would put my wishes first sometimes, would be considerate and courteous. I would like an occasional surprise eg a ticket out to a band. I guess Mr Right should consider me and my preferences occasionally. After all, I will be doing the same for him! There is no harm in wanting to feel cherished and special is there?
No smoking, drinking to excess. Definitely no physical violence, crude behaviour or language.
