About her
I work and spend time outdoors, often covered in mud and open to the elements, and other times in an office stuck behind my desk. My personal time is precious, so after a day outside in the cold I love sitting by a roaring fire, glass of wine, or something stronger, with a good book, a good meal or a good movie. I enjoy board and card games but I'm super competitive and I'm still learning how to be a better loser. I try and keep fit, watching my pedometer daily and I've just taken up yoga which I enjoy and I'm able to do in lockdown. I'm happiest by the sea, either being hit in face by stormy spray or swimming and scuba diving in something warmer, preferably somewhere with bathtub temperature seas rather than a semi-freezing British waters. I'm interested in different cultures and I go on big travel trips every few years. My next planned adventure is in India. I like honest people even if they are blunt and I am willfully ignorant of social media, trout pout selfies and whatever 'likes' entail. I'm open and friendly but like my privacy as well, fiercely loyal, I try and be as trustworthy as humanly possible (don't leave me with the chocolate). I want to have a nice time and meet someone to share experiences with and possibly settle down.

I like friendly, kind, open and honest men. I think the key to a relationship is trust and a bit of physical chemistry. I'm not interested in fanatics of anything, moderation is key.
If you're middle aged, like me, then being a rippling six pack is not necessary, but being a vegetarian I like healthy eating, some exercise and being healthy, so no smokers or heavy drinkers. Getting to know someone is a fun part of dating, as long as they're ok with me wanting kids (this is a deal breaker). I'm mid-life and I don't want to invest in a relationship that won't go anywhere.
