About her
I was widowed nine years ago after a happy marriage and it’s taken me awhile to think about meeting someone else, but have decided to take the plunge!
I have a nursing and midwifery background - retired early, went on a round-the-world trip then back to work part-time - only to set up a little business in my spare time which is doing quite well.
I have a good sense of humour and like to have fun. I am a loyal friend, trustworthy and like to work hard and play hard. I love my family and they are a big part of my life. I have a fantastic, very supportive group of friends and love meeting up to catch up on their news, either in a restaurant or local pub.
I travel a lot - love having holidays and exploring new places. I belong to a photography group which is a great way to explore the local area and learn something new at the same time.
I like to think I have a positive outlook on life, and try to make the most of opportunities that come along - life is too short to waste them!

I would like to meet someone who has similar values to me - someone who is honest, trustworthy and has a good sense of humour. Someone who enjoys travelling, eating out and being sociable to spend time with.
I want someone who can enjoy getting to know me, having long conversations but equally happy in companionable silence. Making me laugh is a fantastic quality too.
