My default setting is to smile and be happy - but I’m quite normal and experience life’s ups and downs along with the rest - I just like to keep positive.
I seem to have become quite a ‘people person’, which still surprises me as I grew up feeling very shy. Although I like the buzz of being with people, I enjoy times of peace and quiet, and I’m quite comfortable sitting quietly but it’s so much nicer to have someone to be quiet with!
I still enjoy working part-time and am actively involved with family, including Grandma childcare slots. But I have lots of ‘me’ time and enjoy reading, baking, cinema and theatre and some more energetic activities - gardening, walking and Zumba exercise class. I like to have a go at DIY where possible - latest venture was a ‘reasonable’ attempt at plastering (but possibly not to be repeated)! 😂
