About her
I've been living in East Sussex for a year and a half after spending most of my adult life in London. A big move, and so far I am very happy with the decision, although I still go back quite a lot so have not cut my ties completely.
I've got lots of hobbies: playing the cello and accordion (the latter is still very much a work in progress), drawing, trying to keep up my French, laughing (I realise that's not exactly a hobby...), going for urban / country walks, people watching, going to the cinema and the usual eating out and having coffee with friends.
Jobwise, I've spent most of my career working for charities and / or teaching English as a second language, so I'm pretty motivated to help people facing some kind of disadvantage.
Around the right people, there's nothing I can't be: dynamic, passionate, witty, wise. I've also got a shy side and it's taken me ages to realise that that's ok too!
About her ideal match
I guess I am after that indefinable something between two people when it just feels right. I am well aware that nothing can be perfect, but I still believe that it is better to be single than to be with the wrong person.
Values are important to me, so I'd find it hard to have a relationship with anyone who has right-wing views or is overly self-centred.
I'm looking for someone who I can feel relaxed around, who I can be silly with, but who is equally happy discussing weightier issues. Someone with dreams and passions, and an ability to challenge me. And obviously someone who likes the sound / look of me!
