About him
I'm told I get on well with others, try to see the best of situations with a good sense of humour. That's important in these strange times. My son and daughter have been, and continue to be great support since I lost my wife three years ago. I generally enjoy smaller groups and good conversation to large parties, although I have been known to really let my hair down when the time is right! I have an interest in a wide range of music, from classical to modern day. I am also starting to learn about antiques and art and enjoy trips to museums, National Trust properties and gardens and enjoy walks near to rivers and the coast. I follow several sports, particularly cricket. Watching outside in good weather, either in this country or abroad can take a lot of beating.
I would like to see more of our coastline, especially around Norfolk and Suffolk, and further afield India and Italy are among my favourite countries. My golf is a bit rusty and needs improving and would like to get back to ballroom and Latin American dancing.
I also enjoy writing and eating out and volunteer with a local charity. I'm not a great TV watcher, unless it's a good documentary or drama, often prefer Radio 4, I like to relax with a good book and trying to learn more about gardening. Also favour a sundowner in the right company. Perfect!

I would like to meet somebody who gets on well with others. Has an interest in sport and has travelled. Somebody who enjoys good company and conversation and appreciates a "traditional" outlook on life.
If they enjoy aspects of the arts that would be a bonus, but nothing too heavy! Company on country walks, relaxing, and good conversation. Somebody who would like to watch cricket with me on warm summer days followed by an enjoyable meal. (As long as they are not always checking their phone at the table!)
