An almost contented man with open opinion on life and young in out look, have travelled much and worked in europe, africa ,middle and far east. Have been well blessed despite losses of near and dear (wife and youngest son).Picture in chemist 2 years ago not by me, despite my age am far from the old folks home.A practical guy at home as my past demanded.
Live in the countryside in a valley (yes am in Norfolk !) backing on to marshland and garden. Spend too much time working on my old cars and and in summer time mowing pathways in my nature reserve on the marsh.
My wife died more than ten years ago, she was a Dutch nurse, can cope but two is better than one in life and am hopeful to find some one to replace, no luck as yet. If you read this I hope you may be the one.
Am fit and healthy well balanced mentally and very active despite my age.,(chain sawing and splitting logs today and pollarding willows) enjoy classical music/opera and other forms and try to play violin,classic fm and radio 4 buff and little TV ,enjoy strictly ,swimming in the sea ,and attend a dance school, interested in old historical buildings as I live in one. I do enjoy animals did have Anglo Nubian goats at one time plus a dog called Arthur named after my doctor. My overnite bag is alway ready, as my work demanded going away at short notice. Not a football admirer, but enjoyed the world cup and rugby.Looking for a companion to see places. Enjoy walking as the coast is nearby and also where I live. Having worked for airlines all my working life here and abroad. Besides useing my cars I still use my bike and a classic old moped I bought in a previous fuel crisis in the 70s ,I like poetry so I belong to a club and meet once a month in one anothers house. Have been skiing but not Gr8 was last in Canada, enjoy the mountain air most , enjoy swimming especially in the south of France and Greece. Have been on a number of cruises to the medd in the past and do so for the change of seen, which is great.Am a romantic and cannot help it.
