I love travel - and have, a lot over the years
I'm genuinely laid back and quite easy going, my friends would call me quite self sufficient and private but I love being with the right person and living life together. I definitely can survive on my own though, and have for periods several times over the years.
I'm normally a "glass half full" kind of person and try to be positive even when it sometimes feels like the dice are loaded. I also firmly believe that "nothing is forever", (even though it can be hard to think that way sometimes.) This is both a good thing but also a bad one too...... I think this is a great way of maintaining what little sanity remains!
Besides the travel, I am a bit of a music geek for a whole range of different types (not really into classical or modern jazz though, if that's your thing, each to their own though).
I really hope we'll soon be at a time when we will be able to go and see a range of bands live again.
The other thing you need to know about me is I've got a couple of dogs - both rescues, a lurcher who is mostly a greyhound and a lovely gentle soul, and a whippet who is a bit crazy but very funny and loving with it too
Finally - I really love going to theme parks and am a big kid, I just love all the thrill rides and always have done - so maybe you have enough of a thrill seeker personality to give this a try with me after lockdown?

My travels have been to not just Europe but a lot further afield and a bit different too - next trip (after lockdown if it ever ends.....) will include South Korea, so if that (or somewhere also different) appeals.....
I do like a nice sunny European sandy beach, but there are amazing old cities and wonderful people are out there and I'd love to go (with the right person) to explore some more of it
