About her
I am creative, caring and generous and I lead an active lifestyle. My small dog gets me out walking every day, I regularly run 5k and I enjoy cycling. If I was a liar I’d say I was 55 but I actually feel 50 or less!
I currently teach on a very part-time basis. I am practical, enjoy making things and I am reasonably cultured. I love life and am always keen to learn new skills.
I see my three grown-up children when they can fit me in!
I like to cook, especially Eastern, Middle Eastern and Asian dishes but try to keep it healthy. The best meals are those shared with family or friends. I am always keen to try new restaurants but when it comes to beverages you are more likely to find me drinking coffee in an Indie cafe than in a pub!
I love the buzz and culture of cities but also the calm of the great outdoors so currently divide my time between my home in Winchester and trips away in my VW camper to explore our amazing countryside. I would love to have a partner in crime to share my adventures - to escape the hustle and bustle of cities to blow away the cobwebs on windswept beaches, forests with tall trees or hilly walks. I enjoy visiting museums (V&A and the Design Museum), galleries, (RA), exhibitions, the theatre, film (especially art house), concerts (jazz, folk, festivals) and eating out.
I have a warm, loving and sensitive nature and a big heart - a thoughtful romantic, who would love to find a “best friend” to begin a new journey. Who knows where the path might lead if there is the right chemistry or “je ne sais quoi”?
