I like exploring the countryside and interesting places. I'm a member of the National Trust.
Music is a passion, ranging from 60s, Motown/Stax, Classic Rock and Blues to Folk music in my quieter moments.
My (grown up) kids are very important to me, as is my grandson. Of course this means that I have to be patient, tolerant, giving and all the other good things a parent has to be. Well I do try and be these things, but no-one's perfect :-)

A sense of humor is important. Also the ability to respect others point of view.
Going out and meeting friends for a drink or a meal is nice, but so is curling up on the sofa with a glass of wine and that special person.
