I like to think of myself as interested and interesting. I thrive on trying new things and meeting new people. I'm always open to new experiences.
Family and friends are hugely significant in my life. In fact there's nothing more important. They would describe me as confident, friendly, positive, passionate, caring and smart.

I'm newly single and Guardian Soulmates is no more. Despite the fact that I'm choosing to immediately make my personal politics clear, differing views are not a deal breaker in a potential mate. Unless you're a Trump cheerleader, in which case we are never going to get on.
I'm not looking for a fling and the idea of apps like tinder make me cringe. If the idea of swiping left or right makes you feel a little nauseous then we've got something in common.
If you're kind, smart, upbeat and easygoing ( and don't resemble Boris Johnson in anyway) I'd love to hear from you. Even better if you are enthusiastic/ passionate (about anything) and think that life's too short to waste a day.......
Beyond that it's probably not helpful to have a long list of requirements. I think ultimately you either feel a spark when you meet someone or you don't. At the very least we can have a coffee, a joke and discuss anything other than coronavirus/brexit.
