I'm independent, casual, romantic, easygoing but positive and active, - enjoy being outdoors, - walking my border collie Frodo (he runs, I walk!), hiking, camping, windsurfing, kayaking- BUT- also enjoy a long leisurely meal in good company, concerts, galleries, pubs. Would love to enjoy curling up on the sofa with someone special! I can look after myself, cook. There’s a series on Netflix I enjoy watching- called 'Heartland' about a horse ranch in Canada - it's obviously very outdoorsy- amazing countryside, distant mountains - so I'd love to spend some more time with horses.
In better times, I've travelled to the remote mountains of India, hiked to Everest Base Camp, been to Antarctica, climbed Kilimanjaro- but I don’t think my knees would be up to it anymore- just gentler slopes now! Lived in Florence for a few weeks taking in the art, food, and atmosphere- can’t wait to go again.
Yes, I am romantic too. What's not to like about cuddling up on the sofa with someone. Would like to find a partner/soulmate, but friends is good too.

I have six wonderful grown up children, my best friends, and a gaggle of grandchildren. A border collie cross and his cat. But we’re all independent (except the border collie and the cat)
