Originally from San Francisco, I arrived in England about 10 years ago believing I'd stay for a year or two. 10 years on I'm still here and loving it! Now living in Manchester, UK, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, running, skiing and walking and hope to try cross country skiing this winter. My heritage is half German and I like to practice spoken German whenever I have the chance.
I'm happy I've reached a point in life where I can enjoy the benefits of having a balance between work, family and free time. I have a child in primary school and love to support his on-going education (and mine!) with travel and interesting activities and adventures.
