About him
Gosh - always the tricky bit. I'm full of contradictions and so it makes it difficult to decide predominant traits. But, I am definitely a confident, intelligent, laid back, positive, happy, interesting, interested, successful, family orientated, ambitious romantic and would ideally be seeking similar.
All my 4 kids are successfully making their own way in life, so I now can look forward to the next stage of my life, and ideally looking for someone who is able to join me. Baggage expected at our stage of life, but mine is very neatly stored away and most of it has moved to the other side of the world !
I seem to have accidentally retired about 10 years ago. I loved my work but I enjoy the freedom that not working now gives me. I have loads of interests - property, finance, sport, politics, hiking, camping, travelling, open water swimming, cycling, internet, live music concerts, antiques. I prefer Radio to TV (R1,R2,R4,R6 all get a listen)
I have always been involved in competitive sport, but now enjoy more social swims and cycles.( I still don't let the kids beat me though !) My new passion is Yoga and trying not to become a bore by persuading everyone else that they should be taking it up !
I prefer the coast and countryside to City life, but I adore London and will visit as much as possible. I am presently living temporarily in the Midlands, but my intention is to move to Hants/ Dorset / Devon area but I would be open to suggestions. It's more about being with the right person.

I'm looking for a sassy, intelligent, non smoking, healthy living, funny outdoorsy type who doesn't take life too seriously.
I would like them to have a great relationship with their children (and Grandchildren) but would ultimately be committed to our relationship foremost.
I have time to do whatever I choose so I would prefer my partner not to be committed to be working full time, and ideally have the flexibility to come with me on seeing more of this planet.
