About her
How to write something captivating in a few lines (tough, especially when one could self-eulogise at length!). Not to be deterred, I should start by saying I’m a fan of all the good things in life (but then who isn’t?), specifically: food (gimme lobster!), conversation (liberally sprinkled with laughter), theatre, all things arty, books, music (mainly classical), cycling (have made a start on LEJOG, doing it in stages), new experiences and lastly, chocolate (Laudon’s – yum).
I also love the simple things in life e.g. big skies and sunsets (I’m lucky to live in a west-facing house and am blessed with beautiful sunsets over Bath), the fragrance of Daphne Odora and Gertrude Jekyll roses and countless things in the natural world (wildlife, trees, mountains and mountain-fresh air).
I’m a people-person and value good relationships - my 2 grown-up children and friends are central to my life.
