About her
Fun-loving, confident, thoughtful, generous, tactile, creative, capable - happy to turn my hand to most things and love a challenge! On the downside, I’m also a perfectionist, so hard on myself as well as others! 😆. I enjoy travelling (to far flung destinations and also keen to further explore the UK); I lived in the Middle East for 5 years, which was a wonderful experience. Back home, I enjoy reading, history, walking, cooking, dining out, theatre, art, house renovation(!), playing bridge, get togethers with family & friends...although I’m not particularly sporty (which, unfortunately, will probably put off a number of gentlemen out there!). However, I want to make the very most of life; to love and to laugh and to hold hands.....I have a lot to give to the right person!

(I should also like to mention - and this is only because I have noticed that some gentlemen put ‘non-negotiable’ against people who don’t have children 😳 - I very much wanted children, and always imagined that I would have them, as I have had a lifelong affinity with them but, very sadly, it wasn’t to be. It is really something that I miss and I would really look forward to sharing any potential partner’s offspring - and hopefully their grandchildren!)

Someone who is open and honest, kind and caring - someone who is outgoing and always thoughtful. A great sense of humour is an absolute must! I would prefer someone who is retired or who at least has plenty of time to travel and enjoy life - and not be tied to his job. I am very independent and not looking for someone to take care of me financially - and would prefer somebody in a similar position. But a matching sense of humour probably tops my list!
