About her
I have been single for about a year now which has given me the space I needed. I run my own business, work hard and can play hard. However, I would like to retire, so I am in the process of 'getting my house in order' so I can take time out for myself, hopefully shared with the man of my dreams. In a previous life I have worked in the financial sector and had businesses in chocolate making and specialist decorating.
So, I live in the heart of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside with my border collie and a recently acquired, rather gorgeous black cat. I enjoy playing tennis (badly), going to the gym, walking and cycling. I play bridge, love dancing, music, food, travel and having new experiences. I have skied only three times in my life but am happy to try that again. I enjoy speed. More recently I have zip wired and done some white water rafting in Argentina, sky dived, hang glided in Cape Town. I can ride horses, though not for many years now.
I have three grown up children, two girls and a boy, 36,35 and 33. We are a strong unit as I have been the sole parent since my husband died 16 years ago. When together, we all cook, play music, play terrible tricks on each other and laugh a lot.
I live in the sticks but have lived and worked in London in my earlier years so am not a typical country bumpkin...I do like to discard the jeans, dress up and put on the heels. I enjoy good wine or a G&T and I love to cook for friends, although I find that so much more enjoyable if there are two of us planning the menu and sharing the cooking. I love theatre, shows, ballet, opera, museums and art galleries. I have been a member of Bath Rugby club for about three years and I also love watching tennis and try to get tickets for Wimbledon every year. Photos are this and the previous two years apart from the zip wiring one which is about five years old. I am gregarious, confident and very practical.

A man who looks after himself, his weight, his fitness. Someone mentally and physically energetic who shares some of my interests but has his own so we can enjoy our own space too. Ideally someone who loves to dance and cook - there is nothing nicer than putting on the music, pouring a glass of wine and cooking some fabulous food together, whether for friends or for ourselves.
I am looking for a confident and outgoing man who has integrity and a good sense of fairness. I am looking for someone tactile and warm hearted, kind, honest and trustworthy....I mean, who doesn't? If he has children (preferably post school) then that is a bonus as far as I am concerned, we can be one big happy family. I hate arrogance, snobbism and any form of belittling.
A sense of fun and humour are absolutely essential as I do clown around a bit and he really needs to be able to laugh at himself sometimes. A man with a passion for life and who would like to do all those bucket list things that family, time and work commitments haven't made possible before.
