About her
My friends would say I am warm, affectionate and vivacious but I can also be quite happy in my own company - reading or taking long walks in the countryside with my dogs. I am a good listener, thoughtful, usually kind and believe in being considerate and trying to understand the other persons perspective.
I can get very passionate about injustice, a bit too interested in current affairs and am currently in need of some serious distraction from the state of the world!! My usual escapes are gardening, listening to music, particularly classical (though my taste stretches through Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen to U2, The Jam and the Chili's), long lunches with friends, preferably accompanied by several glasses of wine and pottering – be it around my garden, junk shops or old ruins. I love walking/hiking in the country or on the local beaches, which in Essex consist of mudflats which whilst not exactly the Aegean, have a quirky, almost other worldly beauty - think The Essex Serpent. I visited the Lake district for the first time following the first lock down when going abroad was all but impossible and absolutely loved it – so if you are at all interested in walking the Wainwrights (I have done a grand total of three) or just sharing some of the journey then do get in touch.

It is important to me for you to be sincere and honest, and someone who can be reflective and open - about the good and the difficult things in yourself and in your life, open minded and interested in the world. I like people who are intelligent, which doesn't necessarily mean academic but bright and curious. It would be good to share some interests although I would also to like to learn about and explore new interests, so this is not a prerequisite.
