In normal times I lead a very active life, playing tennis almost every other day, singing with a choral society, scottish reeling.
I have a devoted dog and love nothing better than a long walk in the countryside. I enjoy volunteering and amongst other things I am an adviser with Citizens' Advice.
I look forward to being able to travel again and love sailing in warmer climes, not here in the UK; too wet and cold!
I would describe myself as easy going and very much enjoy spending time with friends and family in a relaxed way.

I have been a widower for the last 2 years, I can cope on my own but feel life would be more fulfilling with someone special.

My ideal match would be affectionate, honest, honourable, easy going socially and trustworthy.
I am looking for a deep friendship with hope to develop into something more (maybe even romance...!), and with whom to enjoy theatre, cinema visits, classical music concerts, maybe tennis and certainly dog walking. Active holidays are for me, such as hiking, sailing, casual cycling and tennis.
