About her
Hi, I am kind, caring, sociable, have an enquiring mind and a good sense of humour. I have two sons, one son is married and the other divorced.
In retirement I've been learning Spanish. After leaving school, I started training as a nurse in London and a year later went overseas to live for 7 years (East and West Africa). Once back in the UK, I worked in London as a pa for many years.
The cinema, local theatre, visiting art galleries, museums and going to the occasional classical concert are all things that I love. Also I try to swim about 3 times a week and have also had experience of motor boating and sailing.
I'm interested in city breaks both in the UK and Europe and would prefer to travel with a partner rather going with the single holidays groups! I'm equally very happy pottering around at home.
And the small print....I am a size 14, very relaxed/casual dress sense during the day, enjoy being smarter for going out.

I am hoping to meet someone who is kind, confident, sociable, who is free to travel occasionally both in this country and overseas. There are so many opportunities to go away, city breaks, day trips etc and I would love to find someone to do these with.

As I look after my son's dog sometimes during the summer, a dog lover would be really helpful! It's about chemistry and that can take many forms so think you cannot be too prescriptive on paper.
