About her
I feel I am generally a contented and positive person, fortunately blessed with a life rich in family, friendships, creative activities and good health. Keeping fit is always a stimulus, through walking, cycling, swimming and playing tennis, as and when circumstances allow. With a background in design and consultancy in the textile world, I am still inspired by art, design and aesthetics both as a viewer and active participant. The natural world, and doing my small part to help it along, is also a driving force. Having traveled extensively while working, I am now happy discovering what's closer to home, and as I'm certainly of a 'European frame of mind', France and the Pyrenees are visited as often as possible. All of these things can be enriched when experienced in company of a 'significant other'.....even during these unprecedented times we are living through.

This is almost impossible to define , but I guess a good start would be having an interest in the things I have mentioned in 'about me' - but by no means exclusively. I'm keen on being introduced to new activities, interests and areas. Geographical proximity and time to be free to meet and get to know each other will also be an advantage. I prefer to speak by phone sooner rather than later - and meet when it's deemed safe and suitable to do so. Recent photos are essential too.
