About him
I am a man who has good morals and integrity, with old fashioned values where good manners, honesty and respect are central. I have a good sense of humour, a warm and easy manner, I like to laugh and consider myself as a glass half full type of person. I am tactile and like to express my feelings, and considered as an old romantic fool! I dislike high drama and arguments, believing that a calm and civil tongue combined with good communication and altruism will foster a strong relationship.
I enjoy cooking, country walks, picnics, nature, fishing, Freemasonry, watching football, table tennis, reading, theatre, cinema, travel, weekends away, dining out, wine, history and good conversation.
I am well travelled including North and South America, Caribbean, North Africa, most of Europe, Middle East and Far East.
I have served in both the RAF and in the Army. I am a retired Registered Mental Health Nurse, with 3 grown up children and 7 grandchildren.
I was born in London and grew up in a small Norfolk town, and have lived in Suffolk since 1992.
