About her
Writing is my passion but laughing Comes a pretty close second. My friends and (grown up) kids tell me I should say I’m creative and kind, fun-loving and funny, chatty, bubbly and a bit bonkers (I hope they mean in a good way). I like cooking for and with people I care for but especially enjoy eating food made by someone else, a glass of wine and making merry, crying over sad movies and laughing over funny ones; discussions (mainly) what’s right with the world (as opposed to what’s wrong with it). I’m probably an optimist not a realist but maybe that’s no bad thing right now. I enjoy travel and exploring new places and people, I’ve lived in Greece, Portugal and Luxembourg as an adult and further afield as a child. I love the sound of the sea, the smell of the mountains and swimming in very cold water. I have a cat and a dog who keep me sane (or not) and due to the dog I do a lot of walking come rain or shine.
