I’m a very easy going person, kind, honest and straightforward. I love to laugh and listen but am a little shy. I love to pack my rucksack and jump on a train to a new city with no fixed agenda. I’m a keen cook and a dab hand at DIY, I spend most of my time helping my friends and family with their homes and gardens but love nothing more than being in my own home working on home improvements and creating a pretty little garden outside.
I’m a big fan of eighties music but also love rock music, the Cardigans, Fleetwood Mac and Oasis.
My perfect evening would be good food, good company and a good movie. I love action movies ... you can’t beat Jurassic Park! I also enjoy good quality Sci Fi movies like Gravity.
In general I don’t look too far ahead, but I work hard and enjoy the simple things in life.

I don’t have a list, I don’t think the right person has to look, have, be anything to be the right person. I do believe in the basics; honesty, kindness, an equal partnership and real love ... the genuine kind that is warm and safe and will weather any storm.
I’m loyal, trustworthy and supportive and expect my partner to show me the same respect I show them.
I do love a woman with a lively, chatty personality but who can also enjoy a quiet cuddle in front of a movie.
