Why? Well ...I have a pretty good coffee machine ...and my wine rack has just been re-stocked 🤷♀️
I'm reasonably intelligent (despite occasional blonde moments), playful, easy going, good humoured, warm, tactile, prone to displays of affection (the latter items awaiting a deserving recipient), caring and sensitive. I'm fit and in relatively good shape despite a love for good food and wine.
I’ve hung up my working boots, so now have time to enjoy myself! My professional life was fulfilling, albeit unhealthily full-on, but I surprised myself by how easily I adapted to the change of pace. I’m naturally active with no shortage of things to do, but now I’m much better at taking my time and enjoying the moment.
I’m learning Spanish, which is progressing rather more slowly than I'd hoped. Spending a month in Spain always seems to help, so Seville may well be calling again this winter.
Travel-wise, I've been fortunate to travel fairly extensively both for work and leisure. There's always somewhere else to go - its who you're with that makes the difference.
I have a pretty healthy exercise regime, including cycling, BodyPump and Pilates, and I'm a member of a local running club. I don't break any land-speed records but I find it mentally uplifting.
I enjoy live music, galleries and exhibitions. A recent memorable afternoon was spent at a Tracey Emin exhibition - certainly thought-provoking. I left wanting to throw myself off a tall building. Fortunately a cocktail in the Shard cheered me up.
I’m very fortunate to have a wonderful family and a network of good friends. My life is already full and happy, but I would like to find that special person to make it richer still. Sharing even simple pleasures, like preparing a meal together then eating in the garden on a warm summer evening with a nice bottle of wine ...perfect!
