About him
Highly intelligent, reliable, mischievous, funny and great company with no noticeable baggage. A devout Epicurean Existentialist with the same amount of passion for and interest in relationships that most men reserve for football. One friend described me as the most confident person she knows and another said that if I wasn't such an ugly old frog, I would be the ideal partner for most women. Every woman that I have had a relationship with is keen to retain me as a friend, so I guess that is some sort of recommendation. I am considered to be challenging and outspoken but also kind, emotionally generous, optimistic, supportive, decent, public spirited (I recycle everything and even pick up cans in the street!) and well meaning. As I never get upset (angry at times) I do not always understand those who do get upset easily. I will always reply to messages and contacts in a friendly or mischievous way as it costs so little to decline politely. Because I am such a beacon of positive optimism, if we meet, I will always pay for the first lunch or dinner and if we do not choose to meet again you will be ahead. So in these times of high inflation, jump in and claim your free meal! Whoever told you that there is no such thing as a free lunch, eh? I prefer cats rather than dogs. Just become aware that the picture with my cat is a year old because the old boy died last month, so watch that space for his replacement! Although my occupation has been restricted to Consultancy/Design, I am actually a Business Psychologist and Mediator. I am particularly interested in family issues where there has been a breakdown in relationships between parents, siblings or offspring.

I have been told that I like intelligent, confident, bossy, intellectually curious, Economist reading women with a hint of inner turmoil who play the cello and are size 12 or below but do not be put off by any of this because my experience tells me that people grow on me. Freckles are OK, too. Practical women who can put up shelves make me go weak at the knees, so instead of being on here I should probably be cruising the aisles of B & Q or Homebase, I suppose. Although I do value companionship, there is far too much mischief left in me and I need a playmate. Finally, although I do not think it is smart to list on here things that you do NOT want and I have always been up for a challenge, I think that I have done enough of the hard yards with Fs, so someone who is nearly as difficult to upset as I am would be a blessing and being a cat person it would be stretch for me to play second fiddle to a dog. I have learned that it is easier to come between a woman and her child than between a woman and her dog. I would be waiting for the beast to die before I could move up the pecking order! Having an interest in MBTI would be an advantage but not essential because I can teach you all you need to know, if you would like me to.

If you meet Timothy you will never have a boring time. He is funny, charming and unpretentious. He likes good food, the theatre and travelling. What makes him tick is cricket, real ale, the company of friends and a good bottle of red. He is a straight talking northerner and loves a good discussion over the dinner table.
Having worked with Timothy on a number of occasions, he has the ability to communicate with people at all levels and put them at their ease, it is a real gift. What makes him special is that he actually LIKES women. He is genuinely interested in what makes women tick and his curiosity about all people makes him a wonderfully social companion and friend.

I have known Timothy for 10 years and they have been 10 very action-packed and dynamic years.
Timothy has a zest for life, he is a man of action and big ideas and his enthusiasm is infectious. He is very interesting and intelligent: generous in heart and sprit, always does what he says he will do and is very charming but also a bit of a pixie - he does like a bit of mischief - but it is always good-natured mischief.
Timothy is very funny; is the life and soul of any gathering and loves to entertain all of his friends with his witty repartee. He enjoys many cultured experiences such as Ballet and Shakespeare ( not Opera though) that said he is also very at home drinking a pint of real ale and tucking into a tasty curry.
The fact that Timothy is a high respected Psychologist adds greatly to the enjoyment of spending time with him. I knew nothing at all about psychology, personality types etc. before meeting him and he is so open to sharing information about the topic he loves. I have learnt a lot about a very interesting subject.
If you decide to meet Timothy, you will have a fascinating and truly wonderful time.

Having had many years of friendship with Timothy I can honestly say there has never been a dull moment. In a word Timothy is fun. We've enjoyed the cricket, UK and abroad, the theatre and cinema, including shakespeare, comedy and pantomime. Meeting and socialising with friendship groups for meals and drinks has meant eating out in every type of restaurant and enjoying a huge variety of cuisine, Splendid Italian through to tasting sessions in real ale pubs with Timothy's favourite the steak and ale pie, always on a plate!
On a more personal note Timothy is a caring, reliable friend who has given me lots of support, a shoulder to cry on , taken, or rather dragged me shopping for clothes. Always a big smile on his face and has an inate ability to put a smile on everyone's face.
Charming, sociable, bright, smart and absolutely full of energy, Timothy is a great person to be around and I would definitely say he's worth a ' meet up'.
