About her
My best friend says I am kind, caring, positive, thoughtful, fun, good to be around and I do believe I am all those things.
I am creative, love to travel, being in my garden and in nature. I volunteer at beautiful local gardens that support mental health initiatives where people can go to for rest and reflection and also with my local wildlife trust. My gardening skills and wildlife knowledge are both growing! The satisfying feeling of coming home after a cold wet day outside, making hot chocolate and wrapping up warm, helps me appreciate the warmth and cosiness of life.
I lived in Dubai for four years, have travelled to the Far East, Australia, Kenya and America all a couple of times and am looking forward to more adventures like a lunch trip to Lille, a river cruise and frequent trips to Sweden, where my daughter lives. I am learning the language so looking forward to practicing it!

I work part time which I enjoy and spend time with my 7 year old grandson every week. We have lots of fun baking and trying our hand at growing some vegetables with some successful results over the last year!
I love all types of music particularly jazz and blues, listening to artists off the main stream and also enjoy listening to more world music.
I’m a healthy eater do yoga most days, like walking, love a good tv drama and films and am hoping to try wild swimming and kayaking at some point. Equally, the simple things in life like relaxing with a glass of wine, listening to music, not having to speak, just enjoying time together, is a dreamy picture of what I would like in a relationship.
I have space in my life for time to myself and a relationship to share our lives and connection. I look forward to that very much.
