Although I see myself as independent and emotionally grounded, I prefer the company of others and am sociable and gregarious. As a lover of the performing arts, I enjoy visits to the theatre and cinema. Originally from the north-east, I have lived and worked in the south and a little overseas. I am softly, but clearly spoken with only a trace of an accent.
I enjoy travelling but am also a home lover and enjoy cooking and baking, spending time with family and friends. I enjoy learning languages and enjoy reading, especially autobiographies, but any page turners really.

It would be lovely to meet someone who enjoys walking and exploring nature, maybe a member of the National Trust. It's important to seek out the fun to be had in life and to have someone to do this with especially weekends away and holidays. Someone who enjoys going to the cinema (especially independent cinema) would be great. I also love coffee out sharing meal times, whether preparing a nice meal at home or eating in a cosy pub or restaurant.
