About him
I'm a little shy but when people get to know me they find I'm kind, warm and accepting and they like me for that. Some people think I'm wise but that's just because I'm old :-)
I look conventional but I'm not really. I'm politically on the left and this is important to me. I am very open emotionally and will readily share my feelings - well, mostly - and I want to hear people's story - I like to really get to know people.
I use a bike to get around, although petrol is in my blood and I like to go to car racing meetings, usually for historic cars. I should get out more, especially to small gigs, which I love, plus some movies please(preferably dark and mysterious European ones)
This is a bit out of date so I have updated a little. Just over a year ago I had a serious accident which left me in hospital for 3 weeks (not recommended). I am largely better now but some problems persist (one arm needs a new shoulder and my memory, never a strong point, has been affected, though I doubt you'd notice. I had longhair in hospital but had to have it chopped off when I got out, as it was all a massive knot 😱 so I'm back to looking boringly normal.

Someone who I click with. She will probably be a bit unconventional, probably (though not necessarily) slim ( which is ridiculous I suppose as I am certainly not, but I like the idea opposites attract).
She may well have eclectic ideas and pursuits and will want some companionship in those but will be up to explore what I'm interested in too.
I couldn't deal with somebody too conservative (small or large C), a Brexiteer or a Boris fancier.
I like cycling (but no speed merchant) for transport and pleasure, and pleasure would increase with a partner in crime sometimes. I like small gigs (esp blues or folk) and old cars, especially when they are racing.
I like physical closeness, sexy or not - both nice according to mood.
I want closeness, not necessarily loads of time together, but emotional and (preferably) physical intimacy
