Generally optimistic I'm happy to splash through life's puddles. Life may not always go the way I want but I'm usually able to work through problems. I'm a practical sort of person happy to have a go at new hobbies. I love exploring beaches, beautiful countryside & gardens. Recently I joined the Ramblers to explore further. I couldn't run a marathon but I am reasonably fit.
I enjoy going to the theatre, cinema & music concerts. Never been to a music festival but I would be happy to give it a try.
I enjoy travel & hope to be able to explore more of the world in the future.
Since lockdown I've been helping as a volunteer at some of the the COVID vaccination stations. I've enjoyed talking to new people & trying to reassure the nervous ones.
The garden keeps me pretty busy but I apart from walking I also do a pottery & zumba class regularly.

A love of the outdoors would be preferable but I'm as happy driving as walking. Life is far too short to be miserable so a tolerant & positive attitude would be an advantage. A sense of adventure & willingness to try new things makes life more interesting.
Initially I'm looking for a man to be a friend I can share some time with. Since taking early retirement 2 years ago I've kept fairly busy but I would happily find time to share with the right person.
