I'm most happy outdoors in the fresh air: gardening, walking, visiting NT properties and gardens, or just looking and listeniing. I also enjoy city breaks - museums, galleries, searching out the best coffee, watching strange European films or going to the theatre. Autumn and winter bring walks in damp woods, experimenting with recipes and reading in front of the fire. Sustainability and ecology are important to me and I run a few community projects planting up spaces with insect-friendly plants and grow my own fruit and veg. I love camping especially if it's at a music festival. I like livelly minds, wit and banter, and life - my age is irrelevant and I don't see it as a barrier to anything I want to do. Humour and intelligence are so attractive in a man, so if you are still fascinated by this wonderful world, I may be your match. One thing I would add, how come a lot of men are looking for someone younger than themselves as opposed to the same age or even a couple of years older? Just saying....

I'm looking for someone who doesn't look longingly at the rocking chair but rather is champing at the bit to get out and enjoy this wonderful world, and who has an open mind, still learning and maybe ranting at inequality.
