I’d say I’m a naturally open and optimistic person, curious about life, the Universe and everything.
I’m intelligent, independent and sensitive. I’m also a creature of habit and routine (so if you want to whisk me off for a walking weekend somewhere glorious, best tell me at least a month in advance, so I can plan!)
I enjoy reading and always have at least one book on the go.
(I also keep a dictionary by my bed - so I can check the exact definition of a word I’m pondering - small pleasures 🤓!).
Curling up on the sofa to watch a film, it’ll most likely be a romantic comedy, a detective drama, or psychological thriller
(I used to love Stephen King books/films, but strangely I can’t do horror these days).
My favourite film is Avatar - as well as the triumph of good over evil, it shows how all living things are connected, communicating and being looked after by a higher power. Not bad for a work of ‘fiction’!
I love pottering in my greenhouse, and there’s no greater joy than planting a few tomato seeds in a bit of soil, and marvelling how they turn into delicious juicy fruits. 🌱🍅
Whereas I love to eat my own produce, I’m not a very imaginative cook.
But I think I can be forgiven for that because I do make my own chocolate! 😋
