I recently got told that I don't take any prisoners! :-) I guess I'm quite forthright and passionate, you will know where you stand with me and I like honest and open communication with energetic and witty debate. But you will also get a warm, caring, loyal companion and helpmeet - I have loads of nurturing and loving to give now that my chicks have flown the nest. I have a quick and active mind and love connecting with and understanding people, and being stimulated mentally and emotionally. My job is the perfect mix and I love it, but I don't want to be married to it anymore! Mmm, what would be my ideal match? Million dollar question. Someone who knows they're not ideal (and is not expecting me to be!) but is happy enough with themselves. Someone who enjoys an intellectual spark and clever wit. My work is in psychology, and understanding people and our idiosyncrasies is really important to me, so someone with an interest in relational dynamics and who wants to communicate well is a deal-breaker for me. The main things I do to relax are walking, hiking, cooking and eating, so a partner who shares a love of those would be perfect! But I'm also more than happy if someone has their own special interests and hobbies - difference can be exciting and stimulating and it's quite boring if we're all the same!
