About her
I am single, and have been for some time, with a good circle of friends and close family. After a busy working life in book publishing, I am now more or less retired, just doing a tiny bit of freelance work as and when I wish. I have produced a number of anthologies and aim to do more of my own books, but I feel the time is right to explore a new relationship.
My passionate interests are in the Arts; I love theatre, films, books, art exhibitions, and exploring historic places. I also enjoy being outside, gardening, walking. I have travelled quite a bit, and want to do more of that in retirement, the joy being that there are no time limits now, and no massive list of emails waiting to be answered on your return. It would be great to enjoy some of this with a companion, and to share these experiences.
I am close to my family, especially my twin sister, and see her and her grown up children frequently, and also like seeing friends. Wintertime long lunches and nestling in by the log-burner, or summer meals outside are always a great pleasure.

It’s a big question isn’t it and so hard to answer! But here we go. I am looking for a partner to share my life with. He will be intelligent and confident, and happy in themselves, and most likely share my interest in the arts and walking. He will enjoy exploring this world of ours. Kindness, honesty and friendliness are givens, as is a good sense of humour. Ideally, living within an hour or so of me, and with time for a new relationship.
