About him
Larger than life, glass is always half full individual, looking for someone to spend my life with, who I can also call my best friend. I am ex military, motivated with life. I am an aeronautical engineer and teach young engineers online. I like being outdoors, going to the theatre and the odd trip to the pub. I don't have a huge family; just one son and no grand children yet but love spending time with friends and family. Being social is part of who I am but just as happy relaxing watching a good film at home. I'm fairly active and have a broad range of hobbies, but my mind is open to new things. To relax I've recently started trying my hand at Reiki and yoga which has been an interesting challenge. My outlook on life is quite values based but when it really boils down to it, I just want to smile, laugh and have good times with those I care about. BTW... I am a recent ex smoker (and better for it) and Never is shown which is not true... They do not have the option so I thought I would explain this. : )

I believe a relationship is based on two individuals coming together and complimenting and supporting each other, as well as having some shared interests. Specifically, I'd like to be with someone who is keen to get out of the house on the weekend, and go on a holiday once or twice a year. I would like to meet someone who is relatively independent and knows who they are in life and is a good communicator. I believe I would be well matched with someone who doesn't take life too seriously and isn't afraid to have a joke every now and then. It's important to me that I match with someone who is willing to try and make it work if/when times get tough in life.
