About her
I’m an independent woman and I’d like to meet an equally independent man. A quiet man and a gentle man with whom to share my interests and to be introduced to his.
My interests are many - theatre, dance both contemporary and classical, opera, concerts, art galleries and architecture. Meandering around cities looking up as so much detail is above eye level.
I was born in London, worked in London, lived there whilst bringing up my children. Now living in a beautiful part of Hampshire but visiting London as often as I can still gives me a buzz. Equally happy in wellies exploring the New Forest. Love walking in the rain - think that’s quite good for you actually.
I like to fly birds of prey as often as I can. I keep active by doing aqua aerobics twice a week, swimming, Pilates and lots of walking. Beaches being a favourite place to walk - love huge skies. I like islands and never want to be too far away from the water.
I enjoy travelling. Japan in 2019 was so special and I will definitely return.
A sense of style is important to me. As is someone who keeps fit and active, both mentally and physically.
I’m involved with volunteering a day and a half a week with my local hospice and community centre.
For me honesty and trust are paramount. Important foundations on which to underpin a relationship that would hopefully become intimately close and a sharing of special times together. However being forgiving is also important.
I also enjoy quiet times. Cooking together, listening to music, gardening, reading - just being comfortable in that persons presence.

About her ideal match
I find it very difficult to describe an ideal match. I suppose I’ve already described him above. Describing someone feels like you have a shopping list and I do not. For me it’s all a matter of chemistry. Voices are also important to me. I like quietly spoken men. Quietly confident, not gregarious, not life and soul of the party. Having said that I have found that opposites attract so who knows? I like someone who is tactile, someone who has a broad and open mind. I cannot abide prejudice of any kind.
Most importantly someone who makes me laugh. So important to laugh together.
