About him
I am a fit easy going fellow looking for a companion to share what life has to offer. I retired five years ago after running a successful engineering consultancy. Also for ten years I did some extra work in films and TV. It was great fun and very different to churning out engineering calculations. Also, it was great to get more from the BBC than I paid them for their licence.
I try to keep my brain and body fit. I cycle twice a week. No Lycra or jumping red lights for me, just local trips at a sensible pace. Also, I am leaning Welsh, which is hard but interesting. I think my speaking age is 6 years but I find reading easier. I would like to do more travelling now that the restrictions have eased.
I believe in honesty and reliability, that is why my business was successful. I try to live my life accordingly, as I think it is the basis of a successful relationship. Add to that fun, eating out and great holidays, then there are no limits.

I am looking for someone who is reasonably active and has time on their hands to take trips away occasionally. It would be nice to go to the theatre, the cinema and have meals out together.
A reliable person with a sense of fun would be a good summary for the person with whom I could share my time. If they have other interests outside mine, well that's all the better. It is great to try new things with an enthusiastic person.
