About him
I guess I am a quiet, reasonably contented soul, accepting what life throws at me, easy going and comfortable in my own skin. Enjoy simple pleasures and peaceful moments sat watching my wildlife with a cup of tea, my electronic cigarette, and my trusty dog. Like going places but always pleased to get home, enjoy seeing friends and love family, but happy in my own company.
Have been on my own three years now, happily as can be, but aware of that empty seat by my side, getting a little worried that I have started discussing my day with my dog, and conscious of rarely going anywhere because I am alone. Missing all that companionship with a special person brings.
Weird sense of the ridicules humour and can often be found laughing at myself and the world in general. Always busy with projects, hopelessly organised and logical. Few regrets and aspirations but landscaping my garden and building a camper to tour Scotland are current / future projects.
Had an interesting life but looking forward to new adventures with someone special.

Somewhere between Cameron Diaz and Meg Ryan, but I am a realist and appreciate I am never going to have the appeal of Daniel Craig, even on my best day (which was so long ago I forget).
So, I guess if you have a sense of humour (you will need it), a certain glint in your eye, can walk unaided, talk (not constantly), and can remember my name, that would be good for starters.
If you are easy going, enjoy nature, gardens, quiet times people watching, and affection it would be good.
If you dislike noise, crowds, loud people, and airports that would be a bonus.
