Friends say I have a warm and welcoming personality and am a good listener. I certainly enjoy meeting new people and learning fascinating things about them! Everyone has their story. I appreciate my independence and am happy to do things on my own but equally, I appreciate being in good company, especially when it/they make me laugh. It's also lovely just to sit and relax with someone who knows you well where no words are necessary. I love exploring new places, especially around the UK, but also derive great energy and strength from full-on sunshine! Although I'm retired from career admin roles, I work once a week as a sessional Chaplain at the local hospital and volunteer there one Sunday a month. I enjoy travel and am lucky to have family in South Africa and New Zealand - lots of sunshine!
