I am fairly extrovert but there are times when I want to be quiet and on my own.
I love cats and dogs but at the moment do not have any pets.
Poetry is my passion - T.S. Eliot, the Liverpool poets, Dylan Thomas,Walcott…
To relax I do some cooking, do some gardening , or go for a walk.
My favourite novelist is Graham Greene. Dickens is rather special.
Most special are my son and daughter and grandchildren.
I am very good at tossing pancakes.
I love growing roses, studying history of art,listening to music especially Mozart, Beethoven and Bach. On a good day I will listen to a little Mahler or Wagner.
My favourite cities are Venice ( before it allowed cruise ships) and Istanbul.I like Florence for the breathtaking David.

I taught maths for a short while. I also, many moons ago, trained as a nurse but did not follow a career as I married an army surgeon.
